How To Help Your Veteran

The challenges of returning to normal life after the intensity of combat often prevent veterans from enjoying the freedoms they so dearly earned.

But it doesn’t have to be this way.  There are things that you, as a family member of a returning veteran, can do to help smooth their transition home.

    Well said, Dan! I especially like “Don’t look for a quick fix.” It’s too easy to think: but I did everything on this list, why aren’t you feeling better yet?

      Good point, Ali. Time doesn’t heal everything–but it’s an important component.
